Presented here is the official 2018 MLS Cup Champions ring awarded to Atlanta United FC midfielder Oliver Shannon, accompanied by its original presentation box, representing Atlanta United's first and only MLS Cup championship.
The substantial silver and gold ring features the Atlanta United "A" crest rendered in pavé-set canary yellow diamonds at center, surrounded by the black and red team colors, with "MLS Cup" arched above and "Atlanta United F.C." and "Champions" along the lower bezel. The diamond-encrusted shank features "Shannon" and "Conquered" on one side, with "Atlanta United" and the Atlanta city skyline alongside "2018" on the opposing side. The interior of the ring reads "2-0 / 5-Stripes Don't Stop" referencing the MLS Cup Final score over Portland Timbers, along with Shannon's number 28 designation.
The ring is a size 12.5 and presents in excellent condition with diamonds intact and strong metal integrity throughout. The original black lacquer box is inscribed "2018 MLS Cup Champions / Conquered" with the Atlanta United crest. Atlanta's 2018 MLS Cup title, won in just the club's second year of existence before a record 73,019 fans at Atlanta's Mercedes-Benz Stadium, stands as one of MLS's most remarkable championship runs. Shannon played 19 matches during the title campaign.
