As incredible as Leo Messi's 2-goal performance in the 2022 FIFA World Cup Final was, it was clear to anyone watching that epic Argentina-France showdown who now reigns as the best footballer in the world: 24-year-old Kylan Mbappé. The dynamic French striker tallied a hat trick on sport's biggest stage in a losing effort, displaying a level of superior talent, pinpoint execution and awe-inspiring resilience on the pitch that will go down in history. His eight goals during the tournament earned him the Golden Boot and tied him with Pelé for sixth on the all-time World Cup scoring list with 12 goals. And to think that was just his 2nd World Cup!

In 2017, Mbappé made his National Team debut for France as an 18-year-old prodigy. He came on as a sub against Luxembourg on March 25th and then scored his first ever senior international goal against the Netherlands on August 31st. The jersey offered here is from that very match, a qualifier for the 2018 FIFA World Cup in Russia. Mbappé would go on to score four goals at the 2018 World Cup, including a brace in a wild Round of 16 win over Argentina and a 25-yard golazo to highlight France's 4-2 victory over Croatia in the Final. At age 19, Mbappé had beaten the great Messi head-to-head and won a World Cup title. Today, the Paris Saint-German superstar ponders his future with the club, after recently spurning a ludacrous nine-figure offer to follow Cristiano Ronaldo to the Saudi Arabian league.

The tight-fitting blue France jersey comes in size M with Nike Aeroswift tagging within the neck and a 2016 Nike Authentic label (code N9L713884) on the left front tail. The French Football Federation [FFF] crest depicting the Gallic Rooster appears on the left chest with "France Pays-Bas 31.08.2017" to denote the World Cup Qualifier matchup on Aug. 31, 2017 vs. Holland. The one star above the crest indicates the one World Cup title won by Les Bleus to that point. Prior to being issued the famous No. 10, Mbappé sported this No. 20 shirt proudly. His number appears front and back in white appliqué, with his last name arched in white across the upper back. The left sleeve has the two UEFA patches and the right sleeve holds the 2018 Russia World Cup Qualifiers patch. The shirt exhibits excellent wear with internal evidence of being laundered. Comes with a letter from MEARS classifying the shirt as an authentic gamer.
