Addendum: PSA/DNA has ultimately given an N9 ("inconclusive") result which states that they "cannot render an opinion on the signature." N9 is different than N4, which signifies a flat-out failure of the autograph. One logical explanation for the N9 result is that Ronaldo likely signed the shirt right after the match when it was still wet with sweat. This has been known to cause some athletes to press harder or sign in a slightly different format to ensure the pen ink goes through properly. We have looked into this shirt further and, in our opinion, the grass stains on the back appear to match the jersey Ronaldo wore in Real Madrid's UCL match vs. Juventus on Oct. 23, 2013 at Santiago Bernabeu in Madrid. Ronaldo scored twice in a 2-1 RM victory. Even the alignment of the patches on the front is a match to game images.
Presented here is a match-worn and signed Real Madrid UEFA Champions League jersey from arguably the most popular athlete in the world, Cristiano Ronaldo. If you ask the Portuguese superstar who is the G.O.A.T. of professional football, he won't hesitate to say HE is the greatest, period. Modesty has never been one of Ronaldo's strong suits, but his dominance on the pitch speaks for itself. The bold striker, whose game is a deadly combination of speed and power, won five Ballon d'Or trophies (annual award for the world's greatest footballer) and countless league, domestic and European cups during his storied career. Now 37 years old, Ronaldo has decided to cash in on the richest sports contract ever with club Al-Nassr in Saudi Arabia. Unsurprisingly, he's absolutely dominating in the Middle East, having scored 17 goals in 23 matches (as of writing this) for Al Nassr since joining last Summer.
The Real Madrid jersey offered here was worn during the 2013-14 Champions League campaign with the club that built Cristiano's legacy. It is absolutely pounded with grass stains from the pitch evident on both sleeves and all over the reverse. The size 10 Adidas long sleeve jersey features the Real Madrid crest and Adidas logos above the "Fly Emirates" sponsorship on the front, with "RONALDO" and his iconic No. "7" on the reverse. A heat pressed "Real Madrid" appears on the back collar line, with an orange Real Madrid FC crest on the bottom of the back numeral. Ronaldo has signed the back in black marker just below his number. Fittingly, the 2013-14 Champions League Final was played in Ronaldo's home country at the Estadio da Luz in Lisbon against intercity rival Atletico Madrid. Los Blancos took home the hardware in extra time by a score of 4-1 (Ronaldo finished off the scoring with a PK in minute 120) to claim their 10th UCL title, the most of any European club. (RM has since increased this total to 14, twice as many as Milan who has the second most with seven.)
