Offered here is a blazing white game-worn NBA All-Star Game shooting shirt worn by the recently retired Tim Duncan in his final All-Star Game appearance. He was a player of consummate talent and quiet demeanor who passed on the opportunity for a year-long celebration of his career during the 2015-16 campaign in favor of simply walking away. The No. 1 pick overall in the 1997 NBA draft Duncan has surpassed virtually all expectations over his brilliant 16-year career being named 1997-98 NBA Rookie of the Year twice NBA Most Valuable Player and leading San Antonio to four World Championships. Over his career he has averaged 20 points and 11 rebounds a game. He now awaits only the passage of time to be immortalized with his plaque in Springfield.
This blazing white shooting shirt highlighted with charcoal gray sleeves comes with use confirmation from MeiGray Group in the form of a two-page letter that includes color photo-matching from the 2015 All-Star Game. The shirt has "New York N.Y. NBA All-Star 2015" heat-pressed in vinyl on the front and his No. 21 much larger in the same fashion on the back. "DUNCAN" appears below his number on the back in black tackle twill sewn directly to the shirt. Above his name is a black rubber star with the iconic NBA silhouette in the center sewn on in white tackle twill. The Adidas name and logo are heat-pressed in white to the right sleeve and the Size 3XL tagging appears on the right front tail alongside "NBA ALL-STAR NYC"; adjacent is the NBA Authentication tagging with serial number "ASW 01426." A red white and blue strip appears across the back of the collar directly above a small flag tag of "3XL2." Shirt displays appropriate pre-game wear.
