2015 was yet another eye-popping campaign for Los Angels Angels superstar Mike Trout. The other-worldly centerfielder blasted a career-high 41 big flies and led the American League in slugging (.590) and OPS (.991) tofinish second in A.L. MVP voting—this sandwiched between his 2014 and2016 MVP seasons. Amazingly he has finished either first or second inMVP voting in each of his five MLB seasons including his 2012 Rookie ofthe Year campaign. He's off to another torrid start in 2017 and looks to continue the streak.
This lot features Trout's 2015 L.A. Angels game-worn signed and inscribed baseball cap. The size 7 1/2 New EraMLB Authentic red hat shows moderate game use with signs of perspiration along the interior sweatband. The Angels embroidered "Big A" logo (complete with silver halo) adorns theforehead with the embroidered MLB logo patch situated on the rear. Trout's uniform number "27" can be found on the inside domein black marker. Trout has autographed the top of the cap's brim in 8-9/10 blackmarker with the inscription "15 "G/U" to the right of his signature toindicate his uniform number the season in which the cap was worn andthe fact that it is indeed game-used.
Includes COA (1836) from Anderson Authentics Trout's memorabilia dealer. Autograph pre-certified by PSA/DNA.
