Offered here is a fantastic pair of Mike Trout’s 2015 game-worn and dual-autographed Nike signature model cleats. The other-worldly centerfielder batted .299 and blasted a career-high 41 home runs while leading the American League in slugging (.590) and OPS (.991) to finish second in A.L. MVP voting that season—this sandwiched between his 2014 and 2016 MVP seasons. Amazingly Trout has finished either first or second in MVP voting in each of his five big-league seasons including his 2012 Rookie of the Year campaign. He's off to another torrid start in 2017 and looks to continue the streak.
The Nike Lunar Vapor cleats come in size 11.5 black and feature a snazzy red and white camouflage design with ridged texture boasting a red Nike Swoosh on both sides. Stamped on each insole heel is a logo reading “Engineered to the Exact Specifications of Mike Trout” with his No. 27 and facsimile signature. The interior tagging is labeled “PROMO SAMPLE” and “SEASON FA14” meaning these were likely made at the end of 2014 for use the following year. “TROUT” is stamped in dark blue on the lower outside ankles shoe. A special red pull tag on both tongues reads “NIKEBSBL.” The outer heels have black Velcro next to the Anderson Authentics holograms (1832 & 1833). The original red laces and all nine metal cleats are perfectly intact. The cleats display outstanding game use with scuffing creasing and dirt remnants stuck to the bottoms. Trout has autographed and inscribed both shoes with “15 G/U” on the white portion of the toe area in 9/10 fine-point black marker.
Includes COA from Anderson Authentics Trout’s memorabilia dealer. Autographs pre-certified by PSA/DNA.
