We have never seen anything like this in the hobby. A massive one-of-a-kind autograph from one of the greatest quarterbacks to ever play the game. During media week before this year's Super Bowl in New York a few players from the Denver Broncos and Seattle Seahawks wrote their Super Bowl promises and predictions on a giant chalkboard for a Fox promotion. They were asked to finish the sentence starting with "I will _____." Using a thick piece of white chalk Manning responded with "compete my butt off!" The message is 40" in length! He then signed and inscribed "Peyton Manning 18" in a large 10" by 8" area below his pre-game promise. In our opinion the autograph and inscription grade a perfect 10/10. Lined up directly below the long chalk message are two 6" x 10.5" matted photos of Peyton writing on the board (essentially self-authenticating the piece) as well as a shot of him walking off the field after the game. The large section of chalkboard has been cut out and preserved under Plexiglas with a huge 63.5" by 22.5" rectangular black frame. A "Peyton Manning" engraved nameplate adorns the top of the frame with a "Super Bowl XLVIII February 2 2014" plate on the bottom. Based on the final score Peyton's prediction left much to be desired for Bronco fans. Maybe he'll make good on his promise in Super Bowl XLIX. Regardless of the outcome you won't find a bigger more impressive Peyton Manning autographed piece out there. Perfect for the office man cave or wall display.
