David Wright has been the face of the New York Mets for over a decade. The superstar third baseman was drafted by the Amazin's in 2001 and made his Major League Debut in 2004. He wasted little time making an impact on the big club averaging 27 HR a year during his first 4 full seasons. The four-time All-Star is currently the all-time leader in doubles for New York. His glove at the hot corner has been equally impressive earning him 2 Gold Glove Awards. This David Wright Louisville Slugger C243 professional model gamer from 2013 features Mets-colored Lizard Skin grip tape on the handle and Wrights uniform number 5 sticker on the knob. The bat shows light use and the handle has suffered a significant crack while Wright pounded out a broken bat single on September 24th vs. Cincinnati. Wright has signed the barrel with added notation Game Used 2013. A pair of Steiner holograms and an MLB Auth. hologram (FJ 712715) are affixed to the barrel.

Includes a LOA from Steiner Sports. Autograph pre-certified by PSA/DNA.
