Featured here is a sharp-looking pair of Paul George game-worn and signed signature model sneakers from the 2013-14 season. The Indiana Pacers star forward averaged 21.7 points 6.8 rebounds and 3.5 assists to earn his second straight All-Star appearance and first as a starter for the East squad. He almost led Indiana to a shocking Eastern Conference Finals upset over the two-time defending champion Miami Heat but ultimately LeBron and company knocked them out in six. In the 2014 off-season George suffered one of the more gruesome injuries you will ever see while playing for USA Basketball in a tune-up for the FIBA World Cup. A compound fracture of both bones in his right leg kept him out virtually the entire 2014-15 year. But George came back stronger than ever this past season with a 23.1 ppg average and another All-Star appearance. He is currently starting for Team USA at the 2016 Rio Olympics as they chase another gold medal.
The Nike Hyperdunk mid-tops come in bright yellow/gold with a dark blue rear section to match the Pacers team colors. “PG” is stamped on the tongues to denote George’s initials. A plastic ridged panel wrapped around the heels and a breathable midsection give them an innovative design. They come with their original yellow laces and insoles. The size 13 shoes are appropriately tagged underneath the tongues with "SEASON FA13" and "PROMO SAMPLE" indicating they were player-issued for 2013-14. The sneakers display moderate game wear with some interior sock sweating and light heel drag on the bottom. George has signed the outer toes of both shoes in 8/10 black marker with his No. “24” inscribed. He has since change to lucky number 13. Awesome gamers from one of the best two-way players in the world right now.
