In 2012 during his eighth season with the New York Yankees Robinson Cano turned in a season to remember. Not only did he collect 196 hits and bat .313 but he ripped 48 doubles and launched 33 home runs. This Axis 'Ek-TECH RC242' professional model bat was used by Cano during that 2012 season. The 33-7/8 inch 32.6 oz. maple bat displays excellent use and is un-cracked. Several ball marks with stitch impressions are on the barrel with blue ink transfers and white leather ball scuffs. Cleat impressions are on the barrel and a heavy coat of pine tar is on the bats upper handle. Lower handle and knob end are custom taped in a spiral pattern to enhance the grip. The length and weight are written on the end in black marker. The "4/25/12" manufacturing date is stamped on barrel. A great gamer from one of the true Yankee greats now trying to make his mark in Seattle.
