Featured here is a sharp-looking pair of Pau Gasol game-worn signature model sneakers from the 2012-13 season. The Spanish power forward averaged 13.7 points 8.6 rebounds and 4.1 assists for the Los Angeles Lakers that year. He was the NBA Rookie of the Year back in 2001-02 and has made six All-Star teams and won two championships in a dazzling 15 year-career with Memphis L.A. and Chicago. Gasol will join the San Antonio Spurs next season to replace the retired Tim Duncan. He is currently starting for Spain at the 2016 Rio Olympics.
The Nike Hyperdunk mid-tops have an innovative easy-breathing design coming mostly in black with a Lakers-themed purple and gold mid-section and matching rubber outsoles along with a large white Swoosh. A Nike “PAU GASOL” label is stamped on the tongues. They come with their original black laces. The insoles have been removed likely for custom orthotics. The size 17 shoes are appropriately tagged on the interior with "SEASON H013" and "PROMO SAMPLE" indicating they were player-issued for 2012-13. The sneakers display moderate game wear with minor exterior stretching and light heel drag on the bottoms. They are style-matched to a 4/7/13 game at Staples Center against the Clippers.
