San Francisco Giants closer Brian Wilson donned this 2010 National League All-Star jersey, his second All-Star selection. All-Stars wear their standard team uniforms during the actual Midsummer Classic game, but each player is issued these pre-game practice jerseys to wear during the festivities, whether it be the Home Run Derby, BP, bullpen sessions, or warm-ups.
The navy blue jersey has red and white accents down the sides with the "NATIONAL" League team crest across the chest. A Giants team crest is on the right sleeve and the 2010 All-Star Game patch (held at the Big A in Anaheim) is on the left one. "WILSON" and his No. "38" are sewn on the back in red. Wilson has autographed his rear '8' in black marker. Made by Majestic and tagged on the left front tail, the size 46 shirt displays moderate wear from the two-day event. Wilson pitched a scoreless 8th inning during the game, helping preserve a 3-1 NL victory. The autograph has been authenticated by PSA/DNA. Includes LOA from Wilson.

Drafted by the San Francisco Giants in 2003 out of LSU, the 6’ 1” flame-thrower developed into a reliable big-league reliever and earned the closer’s job in 2008. Over the next four seasons, “B-Weezy” saved 163 games (most in MLB in that span) and earned three NL All-Star nods. Most importantly, he helped the Giants snap a 56-year title drought in 2010 and win their first World Series in San Francisco. Sporting a thick black beard, mohawk, tattoos and flashy cleats on the mound, Wilson was a fan favorite and true 1-of-1 with moxie, flair, and a big heart. His “Fear the Beard” mantra became a pop culture phenomenon in the Bay Area and beyond. After picking up his second World Series ring with the Giants in 2012, Wilson played his final two seasons with the Dodgers and settled in Los Angeles after retirement.
