Brandon Phillips is the starting second baseman for the Cincinnati Reds. This lot includes the game-used and autographed pink bat he swung during the Reds Mothers Day game on May 9 2010 at home versus the Chicago Cubs. Phillips scored a run that day to help the Reds post a 5-3 victory. The 32.5-ounce 33-inch Louisville Slugger Cincinnati Reds professional model (#C271) bat shows substantial game use with bat rack marks contact marks on the barrel and some pine tar on the handle. Phillips has autographed the barrel of the bat in black marker just to the left of his engraved signature.
