Here is a neatly matched pair of 2009 Los Angeles Angels game-worn home jerseys from two of the team's great stars Tori Hunter and Bobby Abreu. The two elder statesmen parlayed fine seasons with the Angels in 2009 with Hunter providing 22 home runs and 90 RBIs and Abreu nearly matching those at 15 homers and 103 runs batted in. For the two stars it was a fairly typical campaign certainly befitting of their imposing career numbers of 314 homers 1227 RBI (Hunter) and 287 home runs and 1349 RBI for Abreu. The two spectacular jerseys aren't quite as similar as the two All-Stars who wore them. The Abreu shirt is a six-button front home gamer with "Angels" in red navy blue white and silver in elegantly stacked tackle twill; his No. 53 appears below in red and navy blue tackle twill the same configuration for his name and uniform No. 53 on the back. The iconic red white and blue MLB logo is sewn to the back of the collar; the Majestic Size 48 label is adhered to the front left tail with the tiny Majestic "Cool Base" nearby at the inseam. Memorial patches honoring Preston Gomez (team executive) and pitcher Nick Adenhart who died in tragic accidents in 2008. The Preston black patch is on the right sleeve; the Adenhart circular patch appears on the left shoulder above the team name. The jersey shows game use and is in super condition and problem free. The Hunter shirt is vest-style front home gamer also with "Angels" in red navy blue white and silver in stacked tackle twill; his No. 48 appears below in red and navy blue tackle twill the same configuration for his name and uniform No. 53 on the back. The iconic red white and blue MLB logo is sewn to the back of the collar; the Majestic Size 52 label is adhered to the front left tail with the tiny Majestic "Cool Base" nearby at the inseam.
