Hockey collectors feast your eyes upon this amazing group of game-used equipment from perhaps the NHL's best goaltender today the New York Ranger's Swedish sensation Henrik Lundqvist. Before winning the Vezina Trophy in 2012 Lundqvist was nominated in each of his first three seasons and is the only goaltender in history to record 30 wins in 10 of his first 11 seasons. He earned the nickname "King Henrik" shortly after his dominant 2005-06 rookie season when he finished with a 30-12 record for the Rangers. He then led Sweden to their second Olympic gold medal at the 2006 Turin Winter Games. 2007-08 his third NHL season was another stellar one for Henrik as he posted a 37-24 record with a 2.23 GAA and a league-best 10 shutouts. Game photos indicate he wore the offered TPS 'Response' goalie pads and red Vaughn pants during that campaign.

The matching left and right leg TPS goalie pads come in the Rangers' red white and blue team colors and exhibit incredible wear with black puck and stick marks covering the exterior. "LUNDQVIST" is stamped twice on each leg pad (four total) for good measure. All straps and buckles are as-issued and problem-free. Lundqvist's game-worn X-Large pants have the Rangers team patch sewn on the right leg and his name sewn below the interior Vaughn manufacturer's tag which is also marked "H" (presumably for Henrik) in black marker. They show a plethora of game use in the form of puck and stick marks as well as sweat staining. The pads and pants both reek like an NHL locker room which you bidders should appreciate. The items used to be on display in the Newport Sports Museum with the presented New York Rangers game-used team equipment bag all donated to the museum by a contact of the team. Based on the account of museum founder John Hamilton we deduct that the massive blue duffel bag was personally used by Lundqvist to transports his game equipment. Awesome trio of Rangers memorabilia you can't find anywhere else!
