Victor Ortiz is a former WBC Welterweight Champion who compiled a 30-5-2 record over a 10-year career from 2004-13.He was previously in the light welterweight division where he held the USBA & NABO titles. With a crowd-pleasing aggressive style two-fisted power and boyish charm Ortiz has been a fan favorite with an international profile that he has parlayed into an acting career that includes a role in "The Expendables 3" and will also appear in the upcoming film "Southpaw" a boxing film with Jake Gyllenhaal. Ortiz appeared in the 16th season of ABC's Dancing with the Stars with professional partner Lindsay Arnold. They were the fourth couple to be eliminated in the sixth week of competition. Ortiz wore these suitably spectacular trunks and robe in his Sept. 8 unanimous decision over Alfred Kotey at Gilley's in Dallas Texas a triumph that pushed his record at the time to 15-1. The Salazar-labled trunks have his nickname "Vicious" embroidered at the front of the brown elastic waist the same brown that highlights the sides along with an ornate ssequined trim on each side. Another "Salazar" tag appears at the left leg; alongside is an embroidered "Temo Carmen" on the left leg and cursive "Heart & Pride" on the right both in brown. Back of the white satin trunks has "La Colonia" embroidered on a white satin label on the back of the waist; "ViciousVictor.com" is embroidered on his backside in brown and "Red Barn" is at the back of the right leg. Accompanying robe has appropriately dramatic flair including the matching sequined trim on the yokes at the shoulders down the front of the jacket outside the pink zipper and trimming the brown satin collar. A Salazar tag appears at the back of the collar along with wash instructions flag tag and "Victor Ortiz" is embroidered in brown above a boxing glove embroidered logo.
