First baseman Mark Teixeira only has one year left on his contract with the Yankees but recently said that he would like to stay in the league for another five years. "My body feels so good why not play until I'm 40?" Texieira said. If he does Teixeira has a chance to reach 500 career home runs.
The offered bat dates from Texs fourth season in the majors. Teixeira finished 2006 with over 30 homers and 100 RBIs. This Rawlings 456B bat he used that summer shows heavy use and has been cracked. Length: 34 Weight: 31.7 ounces.
