Jeff Kent used this bat during the 2004 season, one of the finest of his career. That season, Kent collected a hit in 25 straight games, a franchise record at the time. He participated in a rare triple play and hit his 288th homer, putting him atop the list of career home runs by a shortstop. He capped off the year by hitting a dramatic three-run walk-off home run in the bottom of the ninth to win Game 5 of the 2004 National League Championship Series. Kent’s Louisville Slugger M110 model bat is un-cracked and displays outstanding game use. There is a heavy coat of pine tar on the upper handle, and Kent’s number “12” has been handwritten on both ends of the bat. The barrel displays numerous ball marks, stitch impressions, and ink transfers, all of which are visible. The bat comes with an LOA from PSA/DNA who have graded this bat a perfect GU 10.
