Awarded to a member of the Detroit Pistons' staff following their stunning 2004 NBA Championship upset of the heavily favored Los Angeles Lakers, this 10-karat gold ring is a bold tribute to one of the great "team over talent" title runs in league history. The face showcases a diamond-set basketball resting above a raised hoop and net rendered in yellow gold, with "PISTONS" spelled out in blue-enameled letters outlined in white across the center, flanked by "2004 WORLD" arched above and "CHAMPIONS" arched below, both set against pave diamond fields. The ring shank carries the year "2004" in raised lettering beside a laurel-wreathed basketball motif and the team's title-run mantra, "BELIEVE THE RIGHT WAY," a nod to the unselfish, defense-first identity that carried Detroit to the title.
Sized 11 and weighing 62 grams, the ring is set throughout with round CZ stones. It comes housed within its original black wooden presentation box, making this a complete and display-ready piece of championship memorabilia.
