Chris McAlister was a unanimous All-American at the University of Arizona before being drafted by the Baltimore Ravens with the 10th overall pick in 1999. He spent almost his entire NFL career as a Raven before finishing up with the Saints in 2009. A lockdown cornerback who earned 1st Team All-Pro honors in 2003 Chris helped the dominant Ravens defense become Super Bowl XXXV champions in his second season in the league. Presented here is McAlister's game used helmet from the 2004 campaign when he earned one of his three Pro Bowl nods. Chris scored two defensive touchdowns that year including a pick-six and fumble return for the 9-7 Ravens.
The crown of the black Air pro model helmet with the Ravens’ logo on either side shows obvious on-the-field wear with plenty of scratch and contact marks. The black three-bar facemask matches the style worn by McAlister and other Ravens DBs. The forehead has the Ravens decal and the rear features three decals: the American flag his uniform No. 21 and the NFL logo. On the interior is another "21" sticker by the left earhole. The clips are tagged "04" to help date the helmet and online images also match it to that season. The original ear pads chinstrap and interior padding are all present. Terrific gamer from a formidable member of the ferocious Ravens D often overshadowed by the likes of Ray Lewis Ed Reed and Terrell Suggs. Sourced from a local Baltimore collector.
