Allen Iverson played 17 seasons in the NBA and is most notably associated with the Philadelphia 76ers a team he competed with for 12 of those campaigns. He played both shooting guard and point guard was an 11-time NBA All-Star selection was named MVP of the NBA All-Star Game twice (2001 and 2005) and was named league MVP in 2001. He was also a member of the 2004 USA Men's Olympic Basketball Team which earned a bronze medal at the Summer Olympic Games in Athens.
This lot features Iverson's 2004 Team USA Olympics game-used and autographed white jersey. Located on the left front tail is the proper "Reebok" manufacturer's tag with four flag tags attached: "56" "PLAYDRY" "2004" and "+2 LENGTH." On the actual manufacturer's tag is a "IVERSON AUTHENTIC AI3 AI0349: hologram sticker. On the left chest is the embroidered "USA BASKETBALL" logo in red white and blue stitching and on the right chest is an embroidered "Reebok" logo. His player number "4" appears on both the front and back in blue tackle twill outlined in red. Across the rear of the jersey in semi-circular fashion it reads "IVERSON" in navy blue tackle twill sewn directly on the white jersey. Above the player name is the team's embroidered "Star" logo. To the left of the player number "4" on the back of the jersey Iverson has signed the jersey in black marker. Showing good game use this jersey is yet another testament to Iverson's outstanding skills on the basketball court.
