The Hall of Famer spent 2003 with the Dodgers, where he banged out 13 homers in his pursuit of the 500 home run mark. Injuries forced McGriff to retire the next season, just seven home runs shy of 500. The “Crime Dog” swung this two-tone Louisville Slugger C271 model bat in his lone season with Los Angeles. The bat remains in outstanding condition with light use throughout. A pair of white leather ball scuffs on the barrel offset the “like new” finish, demonstrating nice game use. McGriff's handwritten number 28 appears on the barrel and knob end, and slight adhesive tape residue is present on the lower handle. PSA/DNA has graded this display-ready gamer a GU 9.
