Offered here is a special 2002 Topps release featuring the stars players from Super Bowl XXXVI when Tom Brady won his first of seven rings. Completely graded by PSA and ranked #1 on the registry, this master set includes ten players (five New England Patriots and five St. Louis Rams) with five variations each for a total of 50 cards.
Produced in a thicker card stock, the backs are designed with actual ticket stubs -- the small piece traditionally kept at the front gate -- from the event held at the New Orleans Superdome on Feb. 3, 2002. Variations include Gold (Loge), Khaki (Wheelchair), Green (Terrace), Silver (Plaza), and Blue (Level 400 Suites).
PSA grades vary from EX-MT 6 to GEM-MT 10, with most in the 8-9 range. The five Brady cards range NM 7 to NM-MT 8.5, with the Blue and Khaki versions being the only slabbed examples in any grade. The other four Pats are WR Troy Brown, WR David Patten, RB Antowain Smith and CB Ty Law. From the Rams are QB Kurt Warner, RB Marshall Fault, WR Torry Holt, WR Issac Bruce and WR Az-Zahir Hakim.
