Any quarterback would give his left pinkie to have someone like Orlando Pace protecting their blind side. For 13 seasons (1997-2009) nobody did it better, and many consider Pace the most consistently dominant Left Tackle in history. The 6’ 7”, 325-lb. Ohio State product was selected #1 overall in the 1997 NFL Draft and protected Kurt Warner during his “Greatest Show on Turf” run with the St. Louis Rams from 1998-2003. The Super Bowl XXXIV Champion finished his career with seven Pro Bowl and three First Team All-Pro selections, earning enshrinement within the Canton, OH, halls in 2016.
Offered here is Pace’s St. Louis Rams game worn home jersey from the 2002 season. The navy-blue Reebok mesh shirt is properly tagged on the inner collar with “02-50” to denote the season and jersey size. His No. “76” appears front and back in gold on white tackle twill, with his NOB in white letters over a nameplate on the upper back. The Rams helmet logo appears on both sleeves, with team name and NFL logo patches below the V-neck collar. The sleeve ends are custom hemmed to the player’s liking. The jersey shows significant game use evidence with heavy pilling on the shoulders from opposing defensive ends trying in vain to get around the behemoth o-lineman. A great gamer from a Hall of Famer who battled in the trenches. Includes MEARS A10 LOA.
