Born in London to working class parents and fanatical Manchester United supporters, David Beckham lived the dream of an English footballer, playing for both Man U and the Three Lions. His club career would later take him to Real Madrid as a star member of Los Galácticos, then across the pond to the L.A. Galaxy where he signed a record-setting contract (5 years, $250 million) in 2007 to become the face of Major League Soccer. The dashingly handsome midfielder, renowned for his Herculean right foot and curling set piece golazos, made his parents proud when he debuted for Man U’s first-team in 1992 at the age of 17. His career with the Red Devils under legendary manager Sir Alex Ferguson spanned eleven years during which they won six Premier League titles, two FA Cups, an Intercontinental Cup and the UEFA Champions League in 1999. Becks finished with 62 goals in 265 Premier League matches before transferring to Real Madrid in 2003.

The white long-sleeved shirt made by Nike has kit sponsor Vodofone on the front and the Manchester United team crest on the upper left chest. On the reverse is Beckham’s No. 7 – he switched from #10 in 1997 to the same number as Man U legend George Best – and “BECKHAM” arched across the upper back, both done in black felt. The F.A. Premier League logo patch is applied to both sleeves. The V-neck is designed with red elastic under a black trimmed collar for a unique look. Nike tagging is stamped inside the collar with size L indicated. The shirt exhibits ample wear throughout and remains in outstanding condition.
