The story was completely different in the 2000 playoffs, when LA overcame Sacramento, Phoenix, and Portland to face Indiana in the Finals. After injuring his ankle in the second quarter of Game 2, Bryant returned for Game 4, where he scored the winning shot in overtime to beat the Indiana Pacers 120–118. LA went on to win the championship in six games, beginning the Lakers’ “three-peat” dynasty. The photo has been printed to its edge, and the back has the Agfa watermark and a digital code stamp. The photograph measures 4” x 6” and has been encapsulated and graded a Type 1 by PSA.
