Kobe Bryant wore his signature model Nike Zoom "MVP" shoes during the early part of the 2008-09 season (after being named the 2007-08 league MVP) but he typically sported a yellow or purple colorway version as opposed to this white colorway in games. According to the Madison Square Garden security guard who acquired these directly from Kobe "The Black Mamba" wore them only during warm-ups when the Lakers visited the Knicks on Feb. 2 2009. For the game Kobe wore a black pair with yellow laces. By that point he was wearing a different Nike signature model in games. These white leather Nike Zoom "MVP" sneakers with a yellow lining around the lower perimeter have a catchy MVP logo stamped on the tongues. Each shoe is signed by Kobe and inscribed with his "#24" over the toes in lovely 8-9/10 black marker. The right shoe is personalized "To Dave" (name of the MSG security guard) but to the lucky new owner named Dave this could be you! The rear heels are emblazoned with the Nike Swoosh and a triangular design both in purple with Kobe's personal brand logo. They come in size 15 with their original laces and show appropriate "practice" wear.
Includes a faxed Letter of Provenance from the MSG security guard.
