From the great Hall of Famer and 500 Home Run Club member Eddie Murray comes this striking Dodgers game-worn road jersey from near the end of his fabled career. As one of the rare members of both the 3000 Hit and 500 Home Run clubs Murray was a dominant figure in the game for the better part of two decades. This sparkling Size 48 jersey sports Russell Athletic tagging on the inside left front above attached smaller tags with "1997" and the shirt's fabric content. The Dodgers 50th Anniversary Jackie Robinson patch appears on the left sleeve in superb condition; there is little or no fraying of any of the blue red or white stitching on a shirt that shows good game use and is otherwise problem free. A crisp and bold blue Sharpie Murray autograph of unique clarity and contrast appears on the back beneath his uniform number.
Includes a Letter of Provenance from The Newport Sports Museum.
