Eddie Murray is a proud member of Major League Baseballs prestigious 500 Home Run Club who launched a total of 504 round-trippers during his illustrious career. This lot features Murrays autographed and game-worn Los Angeles Dodgers road jersey from the 1997 season his final big league campaign in which he batted .286. Murray played most of '97 with the crosstown Anaheim Angels before signing with the Dodgers for the final month. This sparkling Size 48 jersey sports Russell Athletic tagging on the inside left front above attached smaller tags with "1997" and the shirt's fabric content. The Dodgers 50th Anniversary Jackie Robinson patch appears on the left sleeve in superb condition; there is little or no fraying of any of the blue red or white stitching on a shirt that shows good game use and is otherwise problem free. A crisp and bold blue Sharpie Murray autograph of unique clarity and contrast appears on the back beneath his uniform number (33).
Includes a Letter of Provenance from The Newport Sports Museum. Pre-certified by PSA/DNA.
