Beautiful 1996 New York Yankees World Championship 14K Gold ring presented to their equipment manager Nick Priore. 1996 marked the first World Series Championship since 1978. Joe DiMaggio threw out the ceremonial first pitch for Game #1 played at Yankee Stadium before a crowd of over 56000 on Oct. 20 1996. The ring features "NY" logo on the top made up of (23) real diamonds set into a dark blue stone. "1996 WORLD CHAMPIONS" encircles the NY logo on top. One side panel has the Yankees logo "Tradition" and a raised image of the Yankee Stadium facade. The other side panel has "PRIORE" in raised lettering with a replica of the World Series trophy and "COURAGE" and "HEART" placards. Interior ring band is marked "BALFOUR 14K". Seldom offered 1996 Yankees ring is one of the most desirable of the 1990-2000s dynasty era. Ring size 11. Weight 44 grams.
