Until very recently the 1995-96 Chicago Bulls held the NBA’s record for the best regular season in history with an amazing 72-10 mark. The 73-9Golden State Warriors surpassed that win total in 2015-16 but the Warriors didn’t culminate their efforts with an NBA Finals championship like the Bulls did. During Chicago’s subsequent 1997 title run their second of three straight the Bulls wore an alternate black jersey with red pinstripes. Michael Jordan was the emotional and physical leader of that Bulls team as he captured his fifthof six career titles. After setting the record for regular-season wins the year before the Bulls bounced back with 69 more victories a year later. Jordan has autographed the back of this Champion-manufactured 1996-97 (size 46) black polyester Pro Cut jersey with red pinstripes in black fine-point marker on the number “2”of his iconic “23.” A nice memento commemorating one of the Bulls’ finestseasons ever.Includes COA from Upper Deck (hologram #BAE16770).
