Hall of Fame quarterback Warren Moon spent three highly productive years with the Minnesota Vikings from 1994 through 1996 passing for more than 4200 yards in his first two seasons. 1995 was undoubtedly his best in Minnesota as he was again named to the Pro Bowl (8th straight to that point dating back to 1988) and finished with 33 TD passes and just 14 INT while leading the NFL in completions (377). This Riddell size L game-worn helmet from that special 1995 season shows excellent wear with scratching and rubbing marks throughout the purple shell. The Vikings' white and yellow wing decal is featured on each side with some significant scuff marks on the left decal indicating more game-use. "Riddell" is lettered across the custom front bumper and "VIKINGS" is stamped along the back bumper. The NFL shield and warning label appears on the back of the helmet. The helmet is complete with the VSR-2 padding inside and Velcro next to each earhole to station the headset from which Moon received plays. A 'MOON 1' dymo label appears inside next to the left earhole. It comes with his original purple facemask and white Riddell chinstrap all completely intact. Overall this awesome game-used helmet is largely as-issued and problem-free.
