The 1995 NFL season marked one of Hall of Fame wide receiver Jerry Rices finest campaigns ever. The former Super Bowl MVP posted career highs in both completions (122) and receiving yardage (1848) that year as the Niners posted an 11-5 regular season record. This is Rices game-worn red Niners jersey from that most memorable year. The size 46 Wilson nylon/mesh official San Francisco 49ers jersey shows some slight wear and includes Rices signature in fine-point black marker on the back of the jersey across the 0 on the uniform No. 80. The jersey includes the three white stripes on either sleeve and includes the 95 tag (indicating the season) sewn into the bottom left front side of the jersey next to the manufacturers label that reads: Tailored Exclusively for Prestige Teams by Wilson. The official Wilson patch is sewn onto the left sleeve and Rices nameplate is stitched across the back of the shoulders in white tackle twill letters. His white uniform No. 80 is sewn on the front back and on both sleeves.
Includes a letter of provenance from the Newport Sports Museum and a 49ers LOA.
