Certainly one of the most popular players in the history of the Los Angeles/Anaheim/California Angels Tim Salmon wore this handsome jersey in 1994 in his second full season with the club hitting 23 home runs and knocking in 70 runs while batting .287. In his first full season a year earlier when he hit 31 home runs with a .918 OPS Salmon was named the American League's Rookie of the Year and quickly became a favorite of the Angels' organization and a household name among the team's fans. He maintained his status as one of the league's elite power-hitting outfielders throughout the decade. He ended a distinguished 14-year career with 299 home runs 1016 RBI's and a .282 lifetime average. On the front left tail is the Size 46 "Russell Athletic" manufacturers tag with wash instructions. Attached are the small "2 inches Extra Length" and "100% POLYESTER" flag tags with the 1994 strip tag alongside. Across the front is "ANGELS." On back is the player No. 15 and across the back is the player name "Salmon" a grey nameplate. All lettering and numbering is done in navy blue on red on white triple tackle twill. On the left sleeve is the official California Angels logo patch with the 50 Reese black armband below. On the right sleeve is the MLB 125th Anniversary patch with the "Russell" embroidered logo below. The jersey shows game-use and appears to have no alterations of any kind.
