Presented here is an official 1994 FIFA World Cup (USA 94) Bertoni Trophy replica awarded to a FIFA Executive, one of the prestigious presentation pieces given to federation officials and VIP guests during the tournament.
The gold-toned resin sculpture faithfully reproduces the iconic FIFA World Cup Trophy design by Silvio Gazzaniga—two human figures with arms raised supporting the Earth—mounted on a green acrylic collar and square black base. The front face of the base bears the official tournament plaque reading "XV FIFA World Cup – USA 94" with the official USA 94 logo featuring the stars-and-stripes soccer ball graphic, along with the name "Isaac David Sasso Sasso" identifying the FIFA executive recipient. The gold-tone finish on the trophy body displays fine detail throughout the textured surface, with minor wear and patina consistent with over 30 years of age.
The USA 94 World Cup remains the highest-attended FIFA World Cup in history with over 3.5 million spectators, and Brazil won the tournament by defeating Italy in a penalty shootout in Pasadena. This piece represents one of the rarest categories of World Cup collectible—an officially inscribed award presented to a FIFA Executive Committee member.
