Great grouping of Phoenix Suns game-worn sneakers featuring the fabulous trio of Charles Barkley Kevin Johnson and Dan Majerle all from the 1994-95 season. “Sir Charles” led the team in scoring (23 ppg) and rebounding (11) while KJ and “Thunder Dan” each contributed over 15.5 points per contest. The Suns would make it to their fourth straight Western Conference Semifinals this time ousted by the eventual champion Houston Rockets in seven games.The single (right) Nike Air Max ‘CB’ shoe worn by Barkley is style-matched to the 1995 All-Star Game. Considering the excellent source of these shoes it could very well be 1/2 of the pair he wore in that game. The white high-top with black and purple outline has a nice Suns-theme coloration.A cushiony inner section is designed to give the foot further support.
The size 16 shoe is properly tagged with “940112 FTPS” to denote manufacturing date and player sample coding. Barkley has signed and outer ankle with his No. “34” inscribed in black marker.Johnson’s pair of white black and purple Converse React mid-tops come in size 13 with player sample tagging inside. The current Sacramento mayor has signed “KJ Suns” on the outside of each shoe in blue ballpoint. Majerle’s pair of black Nike Air Uptempo mids come in size 14.5 with “941012 ST” tagged inside to denote manufacturing date and player sample coding. He has signed on the outer midsole of each shoe in shiny bold silver marker with his No. “9” inscribed.All shoes comes as-issued and problem-free showing solid game use inside and out. They come directly from the personal collection of Coby Karl (son of longtime NBA coach George Karl) who played in the NBA from 2007-10. He received all items from his collection either straight from the player or through his father.
