Power forward Shawn Kemp wore this classic home gamer for Seattle in1993-94 when he was at the peak of his athletic prowess rattling therim and dazzling the crowd with incredible dunks. "ReignMan" as he was appropriately nicknamed averaged 18.1 points 10.8rebounds and 2.1 blocks on the year one in which the SuperSonicsfinished the regular season with the league's best record at 63-19before falling to Denver in the playoffs. Any Sonics jersey from the early-mid 1990's is now considered acollector's item especially one hailing from perhaps the team's most popular player ever.
The white mesh shirt has "SONICS" across the frontin screened white atop the Seattle green elastic panel adorned withyellow trim. "KEMP" appears on the back in the same configuration. HisNo. "40" is screened below in green and gold and on the back in the samemanner. Champion size 48 tagging is found on left front tailwith "Designed 1993-94 and Tailored Exclusively For SEATTLESUPERSONICS” and a "Body Length +4" labeled. The NBA embroidered logoappears on the front left shoulder flanked by the gold and green knitelastic on the collar and yokes. The polyester mesh and nylon shirt isall-original and shows light to moderate wear overall. Kemp has added his signature and "#40 Reign Man" inscriptions over the Sonics logo on the front in 6-7/10 black pen.
