Featured here is a terrific 1993-94 Boston Celtics game-worn and signed home jersey from Hall of Famer center Robert Parish which he sported during his final year in Celtic green. "The Chief" was part of four NBA title squads including three with the Celtics in the 1980's. A member of the famed NBA's 50 Greatest Players list in 1996 and a nine-time NBA All-Star Parish averaged 14.5 points and 9.1 rebounds in his long 21-year career and was a key figure in the standout Celtics clubs in the 1980's.
The white mesh jersey has "CELTICS" across the front in the famed Celtic green tackle twill the same arrangement for his legendary No. "00" front and back and his name across the back affixed directly to the shirt. The iconic NBA embroidered logo is affixed to the front left shoulder with the important black armband honoring the tragic on-court death of teammate Reggie Lewis directly above it. Green and white elastic trim adorns the yokes and collar. The appropriate dual Champion Size 48 tagging appears on the front left tail with "DESIGNED 1993-94 AND TAILORED EXCLUSIVELY FOR BOSTON CELTICS" and "BODY LENGTH +3." The all-original shirt displays moderate game wear with some visible puckering and fraying most notably on his back number. A brisk Parish autograph in black Sharpie appears on the initial "0" of his double-zero on the reverse.
Provenance: The jersey comes directly from the personal collection of Coby Karl (sonof longtime NBA coach George Karl) who played in the NBA from 2007-10.He received all items from his collection either straight from theplayer or through his father.
