A fantastic candid Type 1 photo depicting the two greatest drivers in NASCAR history: Richard Petty & Dale Earnhardt Sr. The two men have a combined 14 Winston Cup wins divided evenly between them, and it is impossible to think of 1980s and 90s NASCAR without immediately picturing the two or their equally iconic number 43 and number 3 cars. Petty dons his 10-gallon hat with snakeskin hat band and plume of rooster feathers while Earnhardt lets a rare smile peak out beneath his trademark broad mustache. It is a spectacular portrait of NASCAR royalty at the top of their careers. The front of the photo has been printed to its edge, and the reverse has the Kodak Royale watermark. The photograph measures 10” x 8” and has been encapsulated and graded a Type 1 by PSA.
