Clyde "The Glide" Drexler lives up to his nickname in this striking original Type 1 color photograph from the Dream Team's summer of 1992. Wearing his white USA #10, Drexler soars through the lane for an effortless finish, ball cradled in both hands just beneath the rim, as three members of Cuba's national team (#14, #8 and #10) can only look on. Teammate John Stockton (#12) trails the play, while the distinctive pink-and-teal painted court and packed stands place the image at the 1992 Tournament of the Americas in Portland, the Olympic qualifier where the Dream Team made its competitive debut by routing Cuba 136-57.

For Drexler, the setting carried special meaning. The longtime Trail Blazers star played the qualifier before his home fans at Memorial Coliseum, just weeks after leading Portland to the 1992 NBA Finals. He went on to earn Olympic gold in Barcelona, captured an NBA championship with Houston in 1995 and has been enshrined in the Naismith Hall of Fame twice, individually and as a member of the 1992 Dream Team.

The vertical 8x10" color print is developed on Kodak Professional paper and displays excellent clarity and richly saturated color. The reverse is unstamped. Authenticated by PSA/DNA as a Type 1 photograph and encapsulated (cert. #85919025). A dynamic and regionally significant image of one of basketball's most graceful finishers, ideal for Dream Team and Trail Blazers collectors alike.
