Here we have a 1992-93 Edmonton Oilers jersey game worn by popular fan favorite Bernie Nicholls. Nicholls played 17 years 1981 through 1999 in the NHL for the Kings Rangers Oilers Devils Blackhawks and Sharks and is one of only 8 players in NHL history to score 70 goals in one season and one of 5 to score 150 points in a season while playing alongside Wayne Gretzky with the Kings in 1988-89. Nicholls was traded to the Oilers in 1991 in the blockbuster deal that brought Mark Messier to the Rangers. Large Oilers logo patch sewn on front along with 100th Anniversary of the Stanley Cup patch worn by all teams in 1992-93. Large "9" sewn on back with smaller ones on both sleeves. "NICHOLLS" nameplate sewn on back. Center Ice Authentic Collection and size 54 tags sewn in back of collar. CCM and NHL logo sewn on back tail. Jersey displays light to medium use.
Includes a letter of authenticity from Bernie Nicholls and a letter of provenance from the Newport Sports Museum.
