1991-92 Winnipeg Jets road blue jersey worn by Randy Carlyle in his 1000th career game. Carlyle was a solid defenseman over his 17-year career even winning the Norris Trophy in 1980-81 while with Pittsburgh. After retiring he became a very successful coach leading the Anaheim Ducks to their first and only Stanley Cup Championship in 2006-07. This attractive shirt was worn during the 1991-92 season as well as Carlyle's 1000th career game on Jan. 10 1992 in which he recorded an assist in the Jets' 6-2 win over the Chicago Blackhawks.
Large Winnipeg Jets logo and 75th NHL Anniversary patches sewn on front. "8" in blue sewn on both sleeves. Winnipeg Jets Goals For Kids patch sewn on left sleeve. "CARLYLE" in white sewn blue white plate on back along with large white "8". Fight strap present. Maska and size 52 tags sewn in back of collar. CCM and NHL logo tags sewn on back of waist. Carlyle has signed the back with his no. "8" and "Randy Carlyle 1000th Game Jan. 10/92" inscription in perfect 9-10/10 looking black felt tip pen. Jersey displays excellent game use full of board burns puck marks and paint transfers throughout heaviest on the back number.
Includes Letters of Authenticity from Winnipeg Jets and Randy Carlyle. Letter of Provenance from Newport Sports Museum.
