The late Kevin Duckworth (aka The Duck) was a professional basketball player whose career spanned from 1986 to 1997. Although he played for numerous NBA teams including the Spurs Bullets Bucks and the Clippers he is best known for his time with the Portland Trail Blazers. Selected in the second round (33rd overall) of the 1986 NBA Draft by the San Antonio Spurs Duckworth was traded early on to Portland for Walter Berry. He was a two-time NBA All-Star and voted the leagues NBA Most Improved Player in 1987-88.

This lot features Duckworths 1991-92 Portland Trailblazers game-worn warm-up jacket and matching pants. That season the Trailblazers posted a 52-27 record good enough for first place in the Pacific Division standings. They went all the way to the NBA Finals before bowing to the Chicago Bulls in six games. Duckworth averaged 10.7 points and 6.1 rebounds per outing.

The black red and white button-down short-sleeve Champion (size 48) warm-up jacket is 100% nylon and boasts BLAZERS across the front in white tackle twill lettering outlined in red. The teams embroidered logo patch resides on the right sleeve. The inside of the jacket includes the proper Champion (size 48) tag on the inside rear collar next to a two-tone tag reading NBA Champion and YEAR 1991 Body Length +3 Sleeve Length 0. Across the back of the warm-up jacket is DUCKWORTH in white tackle twill lettering outlined in red.

The matching 100% nylon breakaway pants are black with a red and white strip running the length of either pant leg. The inside rear waistband includes all the proper tagging including the Champion manufacturers tag alongside the two-tone NBA Champion tag that reads: YEAR 1991 Inseam 35 Rise +1. A separate nameplate is sewn over both tags reading Duckworth chain-stitched in red script. The embroidered NBA logo patch appears on the right hip area. The original drawstring remains intact. Both the warm up suit exhibits appropriate wear. Attached images show other players wearing same style.
