A 10-time NBA All-Star Clyde Drexler won an Olympic gold medal in 1992 as a member of the original Dream Team and he won his only NBA championship ring in 1995 with the Houston Rockets. But it was with the Portland Trailblazers that he built the resume that put him on the NBA's 50 Greatest Players list and into the Naismith Hall of Fame. "Clyde the Glide" averaged 20.8 points 6.2 rebounds and 5.7 assists over his 12 seasons in Portland leading them to the NBA Finals in 1990 and 1992. Presented here is Drexler's 1989-90 game-worn warm-up jacket from the first of those Western Conference Champion seasons.
The red short-sleeved size 44 snap-button jacket has MacGregor Sand-Knit manufacturers tagging inside the collar. Adjacent are strip tags with "89" 4"LB and "Designed & Tailored Exclusively For PORTLAND TRAIL BLAZERS". On the right chest is a disc patch reading "WESTERN CONFERENCE CHAMPIONS 89-90" with the NBA logo patch directly above. On the left chest is the Blazers logo patch. On the right front tail is Drexler's player number "22" sewn on in white tackle twill. On the back is blazers in white-on-black tackle twill sewn directly onto the 100% nylon fabric. Lettering numbering and patches are all-original. Overall it shows light to moderate wear. Very snazzy warm-up gamer from one of the greatest two-guards during the 1980's and 90's.
