Basketball Hall of Fame inductee and three-time NBA Champion Larry Bird was voted to the NBAs 50th Anniversary All-Time Team and stands as one of the brightest stars of the modern era and a beloved player in two distinct regions of the country. This is his Boston Celtics game-worn road jersey from the 1990-91 season. On the front left tail is a tag that reads "Designed & Tailored Exclusively For BOSTON CELTICS". Below is a Champion size 46 manufacturers tag with washing instructions. Adjacent are two strip tags that read 90 and 3LB. On the right inseam is a tag that reads 100% NYLON. On the front left chest is an official NBA logo embroidered. Across the chest reads CELTICS. Player No. 33 appears on both the front and on the back. Across the back reads player name BIRD. All numbering and lettering are done in the same white tackle twill sewn directly onto the green mesh jersey. This jersey is properly tagged and shows light use. Although not conclusive the attached 1991 Star trading card shows an apparent photo-match from early in the 1990-91 NBA season based on the positioning of the numbers letters and logos.
