Jose Canseco was in the midst of his dominant stretch at the plate in 1990-91. The six-time All Star made his fourth appearance in the Midsummer Classic in 1990. He batted .274 with 37 homers and 101 RBI that year. Canseco followed that up with an even more impressive 1991, leading all of baseball with 44 homers that year. He finished fourth in AL MVP voting in 1991. 

 

Offered is a Worth 'WC178' bat used by Canseco during that 1990-91 time period of his career. The ash bat is 35 inches and weighs 33.1 ounces. It is un-cracked with evidence of outstanding use. Some checking from repeated ball contact is on the back barrel. Canseco autographed the right barrel in bold black permanent marker. John Taube at PSA/DNA deemed the use to be a near-perfect GU 9.5 grade. The autograph experts at PSA/DNA authenticated the signature. 

Payment for your invoice must clear in full prior to shipping. All items will be shipped from SCP Auctions’ Laguna Niguel, CA office in the order that payments are received. Please allow up to three business days following clearance of payment for items to ship. All items will be shipped UPS/FedEx Ground unless you contact us to discuss an alternative shipping method.
