Presented here is a great jersey from Hall of Fame hurler Bert Blyleven a glistening 1989 California Angels game-worn home jersey from the righthanders best season as an Angel as he logged a 17-5 mark with a 2.73 ERA. Ultimately Blyleven would retire after a whopping 22 seasons ending with a 287-250 career log and a sterling 3.31 ERA. This white button-down knit jersey features "Angels" across the chest in red-on-navy tackle twill with a yellow tackle twill halo around the "A." Blylevens No. 28 has been stitched to the front left and back in red-on-navy tackle twill and his name appears across the back in the same fashion affixed to a white nameplate. Each sleeve and the collar bear a navy-red-navy knitted stripe accent and the left sleeve bears the famed Angels halo embroidered patch. The colorful 1989 All-Star Game patch is on the right sleeve. The Rawlings Size 48 tag is on the front tail with adjacent flag tag with Set 1 1989. Jersey shows moderate game use with very little fraying of the delicate black and red stitching front and back and comes as-issued without alteration.
