Wilson professional model A2800 first baseman's glove game worn and signed by Kansas City Royals Hall of Famer George Brett during the 1989 and 1990 baseball seasons. Brett a 3rd baseman throughout most of his career played 104 games at first in 1989 and 102 games there in 1990. Brett has signed the top of the thumb in 8/10 silver felt tip pen. Glove is made using top grade steer hide with rawhide laces and nylon stitching. Features include Wilson's "Pro-Back" closed wrist with finger hole a single post triple bar web and single hinge "Snap-Action" palm. Wilson's yellow on black embroidered circle "W" logo has "5" in vintage black marker on top. Gold foil stamping on the inside includes Wilson logo with "A2800" in the palm "Wilson" on both the heel and top of the fingers. Inside area of the thumb loop has the year code "ABS". Glove displays evidence of outstanding game use with even wear in the pocket and on the face of the web. Outstanding game used Hall of Famer glove from one of the most popular and finest hitters of the 1970's and '80's.
