Tracy Murray who played 11 seasons in the NBA was a standout collegiate player at UCLA. In 98 games with the Bruins Murray averaged 18.3 points per game 6.4 rebounds and 1.5 assists and made the Pac-10 All-Conference team twice. As a junior he averaged 21.4 points and seven rebounds and led the Pac-10 in three-point shooting at 50% helping to lead the Bruins to the Elite Eight that year. After his junior season of college Murray declared for the 1992 NBA Draft and left UCLA as the teams No. 5 leading scorer on the all-time list.
This lot features Murrays game-worn UCLA Bruins home uniform (jersey and shorts) during his tenure with the Bruins. The size 46 white mesh jersey shows light game usage with minor fraying of the blue lettering (UCLA and Murray) and numbers (30) while the accompanying shorts (size 36) also show light game usage and include 30 in black marker on the rear of the inside of the waistband signifying Murrays pair. Proper tagging from manufacturer W.A. Goodman & Sons appears on both garments.
Includes Letter of Provenance from the Newport Sports Museum.
