1989-90 Winnipeg Jets blue jersey game worn and signed by center Dale Hawerchuk. Hawerchuk has signed above the nameplate on back in 7-8/10 black felt tip pen that has faded "Dale Hawerchuk 10". Dale Hawerchuk played 16 season in the NHL from 1981 to 1997 for the Winnipeg Jets Buffalo Sabres St. Louis Blues and Philadelphia Flyers. During his prolific career Hawerchuk was voted rookie of the year in 1982 and was elected to the Hockey Hall of Fame in 2001. Hawerchuk retired with 518 goals 891 assists and 1409 points placing him 18th on the career NHL points list. In a Mid-1980s poll of NHL general managers Hawerchuk finished 3rd behind Gretzky and Coffey for the player they would start a franchise with. Large red white and blue Jets logo sewn on chest and "C" Captain patch. Large "10" sewn on back along with "HAWERCHUK" nameplate. Smaller "10" sewn on both shoulders. Maska size 52 tags sewn in back of collar. CCM logo patch sewn on back tail. Jersey exhibits light to moderate wear. Beautiful looking jersey from a great Hockey Hall of Fame player!
Includes a Jets letter of authenticity and a letter of provenance from the Newport Sports Museum.
